Glass woven rovin is made from glass fibers. Mostly are done as regular tissues with regular texture or as unidirectionaly orientated tissues or bands. Woven rovings aer used for lamination of products for industry, transport and sport.

Structures of woven rovings:

Plein weave

It is the stongest and at the same time the less flexible sturcture for shaping. Fibers are indentical and regularly outlying in warp and heft. The fibers of weft go always under and above fibers of warp.

Twill weave

In this stucture the weft fibers cross minimum two fibers of warp before it goes abow one or more warp fibers. In the next line the weft fiber is moved to right or left to the nearest fiber of warp.

Sateen weave

It is the less stong weaving structure. One fiber of warp is covered by four or more fibers of weft from above and by one fiber from bortím. The number of warp fibers covered by weft is recognised by sateen structure (5 to 12). This stucture anables minimal waving of fibers so it could be produced with sateen tissue the composites with the highest strength and rigidity.
